The police have registered the FIR against Pakistan’s test leg spinner Yasir Shah and his friends for accusations of kidnapping, molesting and threatening a girl.
After the girl complained, FIR registered at the Shalimar Police Station in Lahore. Pakistani cricketers have not yet responded to this issue.
In FIR, the girl claimed that Yasir’s friend Farhan kidnapped her with a gun, raped her, made a video of her, and later threatened her.
The girl claimed that Yasir Shah helped his friend and later threatened Farhan that if she made any voice, they would publish her video.
According to the complaint filed with the police, the girl said that when she contacted Yasir via WhatsApp for his help, he laughed at her and told her to remain silent about the whole issue.
The girl also claimed that when she went to the police station, Yasir offered to give her a fixed fee and monthly fee for 18 years if she kept quiet. Yasir did not travel to Bangladesh to participate in the latest test series because he was nursing a finger injury.
At the same time, according to a report by ESPNCricinfo, the Pakistan Cricket Committee (PCB) stated: “We have noticed that one of our centrally signed players has received some allegations.”
“PCB is currently collecting information and will only comment after it has the complete facts.”
