In February of this year, Xiaomi said that the global sales of Redmi Note series smartphones exceeded 200 million units. In other words, this series has shipped another 40 million units in the past seven months. Xiaomi launched the first Redmi Note series mobile phone in 2014.
Since then, this Chinese smartphone manufacturer has continuously launched new phones, of which the Redmi Note 11 series is the latest. In addition, Xiaomi said it will reach the global milestone of 10,000 stores by the end of this month.
An IThome report quoted Redmi general manager Lu Weibing as saying that the global sales of the Redmi Note series have exceeded 240 million units. The announcement was made at the Redmi Note 11 series conference on Thursday, October 28th. However, Xiaomi has not yet shared the personal data of different generations of phones in the Redmi Note series.
In addition, Lu Weibing announced on Weibo that the company will open more than 10,000 Xiaomi stores by the end of October. The 10,000th store will be the Happy Harbor store in Shenzhen.
