The International Indian Film Academy Awards have arrived in Abu Dhabi, bringing with them Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and a slew of other celebrities. The award show will be co-hosted by Salman and Riteish, with Maniesh Paul, Aparshakti Khurana, and Farah Khan also serving as hosts. Riteish pulled Salman’s leg in a playful banter on the first day of the IIFA weekend, and the latter was taken aback.

Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Nora Fatehi, Divya Khosla Kumar, and others joined Salman, Riteish, and Maniesh for an event at IIFA on Thursday. Maniesh is heard saying during the event that he is ‘looking forward’ to hosting duties, noting that it is even more fun when ‘bhaijaan’ Salman Khan is present, in a video shared by a paparazzo account. After that, Riteish Deshmukh said to Maniesh, “All I have to say is that you are the best thing that has ever happened to hosting. Period.”

At this point, Salman made a remark that was not audible in the video but made everyone laugh. “Repeat…Maniesh, I have to tell you, you are the best thing that has ever happened to hosting,” Riteish said, pulling Salman’s leg. Salman, who has hosted numerous award shows and has been the host of the reality TV show Bigg Boss for several years, looked surprised as Riteish praised Maniesh as the best host instead of him. After that, Riteish approached Salman and apologised, while the latter admitted that he had forgotten that he also hosts on occasion.
