September 4 was the occasion of Rishi Kapoor’s 70th birthday. 2020 saw the veteran actor’s passing in Mumbai following a fight with cancer. On the late Rishi Kapoor’s birthday, his loved ones recalled the memories and poignant messages were posted on social media in his honour. Samara Sahni, Rishi’s granddaughter and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s daughter, also honoured her late grandfather with a heartfelt birthday message and flashback photo.
Samara shared a throwback photo of herself and Rishi and Riddhima Kapoor on Instagram on Sunday. The mother and daughter pair complemented each other in red clothes, while the late actor donned blue denims and a blue T-shirt. The three were taken in the candid picture looking away from the camera.
Samara captioned the cute picture, “Happy birthday to the best nana (maternal grandfather) in the world! We all adore you forever and miss you so much every day. She embellished her caption by adding a heart emoji. Red heart emoticons abounded in Samara’s post’s comments section. Additionally, Riddhima added a few heart emoticons to the message.
For two years, Rishi Kapoor battled leukaemia. At Mumbai’s Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, he passed away. Before going back to India, he was receiving treatment in New York. Neetu Kapoor tweeted a silly throwback photo of her late husband Rishi wearing some eccentric spectacles earlier on Sunday in honour of the birth anniversary of her late spouse.
Riddhima Kapoor, the daughter of Rishi and Neetu, also shared memories of her late father on Sunday on her Instagram Stories. She posted a picture of him and captioned it, “We miss you so much, especially today, but with a cheer, not a tear in our eye. I adore you, papa She further published an Instagram post with a garland-encircled black-and-white picture of the deceased actor. The photograph’s caption read, “In your mirror, we live and adore… Papa, happy birthday.
