After RBI approval, SBI has announced the postponement of EMI for all term loan customers for the next three months. SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar said, “The decision will postpone the bank’s receipt of ₹ 60,000 crores.” At the same time, the bank has also cut the interest rate by 20-100 basis points on retail and lump sum deposits.
