SC to hear BSF ex-trooper’s plea against Modi poll win after Diwali

The Supreme Court on Wednesday conceded, till later November, the knowing about fired BSF constable Tej Bahadur’s request, testing the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi voting demographic in 2019.
A Bench, headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde and containing Justices AS Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian, stated: “We will hear it after Diwali excursion.”
Tej Bahadur had moved the top court against the Allahabad High Court which excused his political race request against the leader.
The top court permitted the Center’s request to dismiss the meeting in the issue after Diwali excursion.
After his designation papers as the Samajwadi Party applicant in Varanasi in the 2019 surveys were dismissed, he had recorded an extraordinary leave request under the watchful eye of the top court battling that his selection papers were dismissed by the returning official supposedly under tension from the decision BJP, and encouraged the top court to put aside the dismissal.
Tej Bahadur tested the legitimacy of the High Court judgment passed in December 2019, where the court declined to engage his political race appeal saying it had no locus. It had likewise seen that he was neither an inhabitant of the Varanasi Lok Sabha electorate nor an enlisted citizen.
The trooper was sacked from administration after he delivered a video in 2017 grumbling about the nature of food served to faculty of the paramilitary power.
