The minister stated that the Maharashtra State Education Research and Training Committee (SCERT) will develop an action plan and help officials overcome any obstacles to resuming physical education classes.

Maharashtra State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that in order for teaching activities to transition to offline courses smoothly, it is necessary to maintain “effective coordination” between the education, health and local administration departments. Schools across Maharashtra will reopen tomorrow, October 4th. In rural areas, schools will reopen to classes 5 to 12, and in urban areas, schools will reopen to classes 8 to 12. Ms. Gaikwad held a review meeting with the State Department of Education yesterday. “As the school reopened on Monday, senior officials and education officials from the education department across the state held a meeting to assess the readiness.

During the meeting, the officials made some welcome suggestions. These will definitely help,” Geek Ms. Ward later wrote on Twitter. The minister stated that the Maharashtra State Education Research and Training Committee (SCERT) will develop an action plan and help officials overcome any obstacles to resuming physical education classes. “I have instructed the education officials to personally visit the school and supervise the reopening… In order to make a smooth transition to physical education, effective coordination must be made with the health department and the local administrative department.

We are committed to providing a favorable atmosphere for students, many of whom will be in one place. Return to class in a year and a half,” the minister said. It is not compulsory for students to participate in physical education. If they participate, they must bring their parents’ consent form. “Although schools across the state will be reopened, students will not be forced to attend physical education classes. If they want to participate, they must obtain the consent of their parents,” the minister said last month. After conducting an investigation by the school education department in Maharashtra, it was decided last month to reopen schools in Maharashtra.
