When people find it difficult to walk long distances or for long periods of time, they often use self-balancing hoverboards in facilities and gardens. These scooters can provide great support for those who need it. But what if they can become a mini mobile tank that can also fire? Ninebot, the company that acquired the Segway brand in 2015, has made weird add-ons to make simple transport vehicles more interesting. The new Mecha kit is compatible with Ninebot S and Ninebot S Kids.
Once the kit is installed on your Segway scooter, you no longer need to stand up and ride. You can sit comfortably on a chair, use the joystick to control your movements, and use water bombs to fire water bombs from the blasters on both sides of the ride to aim at the target.
Segway claims that bullets are environmentally friendly and can evaporate into powder without leaving traces of pollution. You can also play your favorite songs through the built-in Bluetooth audio system, and customize the ride experience through the underbody RGB ambient light. There is also a front-firing laser light to help you aim at the target.
The built-in sound system will provide voice assistance to new players when they get started. In terms of safety, the kit has an “all-round collision avoidance” system. The high-strength steel frame of the kit provides comprehensive protection for the body and prevents deformation. It can carry a payload of up to 220 pounds (100 kg) and move in three speed modes-3.7 mph (6 km/h), 6 mph (10 km/h) and 8.7 mph ( 14 km/h). People can even use the Segway-Ninebot application to remotely control it.
The company recommends scooters to people 14 years and older. Mecha Kit is priced at US$599.99 (approximately Rs 45,000) in the company’s official electronic store, but the company currently offers it at a discounted price of US$100 (approximately Rs 7,500).
