Selena Gomez: “I’m not in a sad girl world anymore.”

Selena Gomez is on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar this month, and in her interview she talks about her new album, “Rare,” and how she’s feeling these days.

“I’m not in a sad girl world anymore,” she says. “I don’t want to be clouded by all that. I’m in a much better place.”

It’s been a long journey for Selena, who went through a very public breakup with Justin Bieber a few years ago. She’s also been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression. But it seems like she’s finally in a good place, and her new album reflects that.

“Rare is about self-love and empowerment,” she says. “It’s about trusting yourself and your gut. And I hope girls can feel that when they listen to it.”
