The BSE Sensex fell 1821 points to 33,876.13 as it opened on Thursday after the Coronavirus infection was declared an epidemic by the World Health Organization, while the Nifty fell 470 points to 9,988. Nifty has come down below 10,000 for the first time since March 2018. Shares of all 30 companies involved in the Sensex were trading down.
