The BSE Sensex was up around 700 points at 54,100-odd levels, while the NSE Nifty regained the 16,200-level. The overall breadth too was extremely positive with more than three advancing shares for every declining stock on the BSE. Among sectors, the IT, Healthcare and Capital Goods indices led the up move, while metal witnessed some profit-taking.
