Shehnaaz Gill recently joined the Brahma Kumaris spiritual group in Gurugram for their campaign to promote girl child empowerment. She took the time to pose for a selfie with every fan who approached her for one. The actor-singer has now stated that she has no complaints because it is exactly what she desired.

Even though her one-liners have become the subject of memes and funny videos, Shehnaaz says it doesn’t bother her because she knows life is unpredictable.

“I am enjoying the moment,” Shehnaaz said of her current celebrity, according to ETimes. It’s all right. Yahi cheez thi, jiske liye main pehle taras rahi thi… ki main kuch banun, ki main kuch aisa karun ki log mujhe dekhein, pasand karein

Shehnaaz also stated that her newfound celebrity has not gotten to her head. “Socho ke jo log bolte thay ki mujhe bolna nahi aata, mujhe baat nahi karni aati, iska accent kaisa hai, haste thay log,” she explained. Isn’t it true that aaj meri wahi strength ban gayi? Kisi ka mazak nahi udhana chahiye, toh mujhe lagta hai. Only one-liners are allowed in the video. But it doesn’t bother me because I know that main aaj yahan hoon, kal ko kuch bhi ho sakta hai mere saath (People used to laugh at my accent and say that I don’t know how to speak.) Isn’t that becoming my strength now? I believe that making fun of others is inappropriate. People nowadays
