Shilpa Shetty’s daughter Samisha, who turns two next month, recently prayed for an injured bird found in their garden. In a video, Samisha and Shilpa can be seen chanting Gayatri Mantra to make the bird better. Shilpa informed in her Instagram post that the bird was later rescued by Peta India.

The video begins with Samisha standing in the garden area, with her back to the camera when Shilpa asks her, “Samisha are you praying, praying for the bird to get better? Did the bird get booed? Samisha pointed to the injured birdie and said, “Bird shh.” Shilpa repeated her words.

Samisha looked worried, pointed to the bird and said, “The bird is dead!” Shilpa then knelt down beside her daughter and told her, “No baby, the bird is not dead, she will be fine.” Then the camera Panning shows us the bird. “Are you praying for the little bird to get better? Get well soon, little bird, get well soon,” Shilpa said, clasping her hands together with her daughter. The actor begins chanting “Om, Om Sai Ram,” as Samisha walks backwards. Noticing her, Shilpa asked why she was walking away. Soon, she realized that Samisha was just looking for a place to sit. Samisha then sat down, put his hands together, and began to recite the Gayatri Mantra. Shilpa walked up to her and joined her.
