Union Minister Smriti Irani, who was involved in the demonstration of students at JNU against violence by actress Deepika Padukone, said, “She stood with those who attacked private parts of girls with sticks.” He went on to say, “Deepika Padukone has the freedom to stand with those who say ‘Bharat tere pieces hoga’.”
