It’s been a little over a year since the release of Vijay Devarakonda’s much-anticipated film, Liger. The film, which was directed by Puri Jagannadh, was a commercial and critical failure. In a recent interview, Devarakonda spoke candidly about the film’s failure and how it affected him. “I was really upset when Liger didn’t work,” he said. “I put so much of myself into that film and I really believed in it. So when it didn’t do well, it was a big blow to me.” Despite the film’s failure, Devarakonda said that he doesn’t regret making it. “I don’t regret anything,” he said. “I’m glad I did it. I learned a lot from the experience and I’m a better actor because of it.” Looking back, Devarakonda said that he would have done things differently if he could go back and do them again. “I would have listened to my gut more,” he said. “There were a lot of things about the film that I wasn’t comfortable with, but I didn’t speak up.
