The move came after the government stated that Starlink Internet Services has not obtained a license to provide satellite-based Internet services in India, and advised the public not to subscribe to services being promoted by companies supported by Elon Musk without the necessary licenses in the country.

Bhargava said in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday night: “Due to personal reasons, I have resigned as the country director and chairman of the board of directors of Starlink India.
