We are strengthening our home isolation system. These patients will receive a medical kit from the health authorities and they will receive a 10-day remote consultation ,” Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal said that the Omicron variant spreads very fast, but it has little impact on patients so far. “The number of hospitalizations and deaths have decreased. Keeping this in mind, we proposed the ability to perform 3,00,000 tests per day. Up to now So far, we have conducted 60,000 to 70,000 tests.”
The Chief Minister said that in the next few months, the government is stocking medicines and increasing manpower, adding that medical oxygen is being arranged. He said that 15 oxygen tanks will be delivered in the next three weeks.

So far, Delhi has reported 64 cases of Omicron variant, which is the second highest case in India. In addition, 23 patients have recovered from the mutation.
The government has transformed four private hospitals in Delhi into specialized Omicron treatment centers and is sending all Covid positive samples for genome sequencing.
At the same time, all cultural activities and gatherings during Christmas and New Year are prohibited. However, all religious places will remain open for prayer in accordance with the Covid-19 agreement.
