In Hinduism, 33 crore Gods are worshiped, every person worships their God according to their own faith. Today we will know about 12 Jyotirlinga – 12 Jyotirling of Lord Shiva and “Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stotram” of Lord Shiva.
According to Hindu legends, Jyotirlinga refers to “bright signs of Almighty Shiva”. There are a total of 64 Jyotirlingas in India, which are in place. Only 12 of these Jyotirlingas are included in the main Jyotirlinga. These Jyotirlingas are considered very sacred in India.
Lord Mahadev is known by different names. Jyotirlinga is very famous among Hindus. Jyotirlinga is a kind of a temple of Lord Shiva, where he is worshiped as Jyotirlinga.
Wherever there are 12 Jyotirlingas in India, those places are known as the main deity. Information about each Jyotirlinga is given separately.
Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stotram –
सौराष्ट्रे सोमनाथं च श्रीशैले मल्लिकार्जुनम्। उज्जयिन्यां महाकालमोङ्कारममलेश्वरम्॥
परल्यां वैद्यनाथं च डाकिन्यां भीमशङ्करम्। सेतुबन्धे तु रामेशं नागेशं दारुकावने॥
वाराणस्यां तु विश्वेशं त्र्यम्बकं गौतमीतटे। हिमालये तु केदारं घुश्मेशं च शिवालये॥
एतानि ज्योतिर्लिङ्गानि सायं प्रातः पठेन्नरः। सप्तजन्मकृतं पापं स्मरणेन विनश्यति॥
एतेशां दर्शनादेव पातकं नैव तिष्ठति। कर्मक्षयो भवेत्तस्य यस्य तुष्टो महेश्वराः॥:
