Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Lock Upp, did his first Instagram live on Wednesday, just days after the reality show ended. The live session was watched by over 1.4 lakh people. Munawar spoke with fans about his relationship with co-contestant Payal Rohatgi and reacted to Sunil Pal’s allegations against him.

Sunil Pal, a comedian, had attended the premiere of Lock Upp and had targeted Munwar, accusing him of making vulgar jokes and implying that he was a “terrorist.” “Sunil Pal bhai to chalu hi ho gaye they, band hi nahi hore they,” Munawar said in response. They are mere pe, kya bhadke huye. ‘Sunil bhai, maine tumhara kya bigada hai yar,’ says the main character. Sunil Pal was furious with me, so I told him what had happened.

“I respect and love comedy as much as you do,” Munawar said in response to Sunil Pal’s post, in which he tagged Munawar and asked him to save comedy from vulgarity. Please don’t accuse me of putting comedy in jeopardy. You have the right to express yourself. Together, we can save comedy. Your approach is distinct from mine. You must have thought I was disrespectful when I came on stage, but I was not. I didn’t mean it, even if you think I did. “Aukaat (worth) nahi hai meri, aukaat bana lenge,” you said.

Munawar was also asked if he wanted to be a Bigg Boss contestant. “I recently completed a reality show in which I was isolated for 72 days. I’m not sure about the future, but if you ask me right now, I’d say no. But if they give me the option of bringing someone else,” he said, “maybe.”

“It depends on what the song is about, people can’t see us as a couple,” Munawar said when asked about working with Payal and if he would be willing to do a music video with her. But I would love to collaborate with her. She is a hard worker who has always given her all in tasks.”

Azma Fallah appeared on Munawar’s live show and revealed that Prince Narula had blocked her Instagram account. “I tried to open his ID as soon as I got out of Lock Upp, but it wouldn’t open,” she explained. When I tried it with a fake ID, it worked.”

Munawar won the show and received a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakh as well as a car. The first runner-up was Payal, and the second runner-up was Anjali.
