The Supreme Court has sent a notice to the Central Government refusing to put a stay on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The Supreme Court has said that it will examine the validity of this law. In fact, 60 petitions have been filed against this law and among the petitioners are the NDA partners Assam Gana Parishad and the former royal house of Tripura.
