Pakistanis are most happy after the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. First, Pakistani PM Imran Khan himself and his ministers praised the Taliban, and now the country’s cricketer Shahid Afridi has also supported the Taliban.
Shahid Afridi has said that the Taliban has returned to power this time with a positive outlook.
Pakistani journalist Nayla Inayat tweeted a video in which Afridi can be heard telling reporters that the Taliban is allowing women to work and loves cricket.
Afridi tells reporters, ‘No doubt, the Taliban have come at this time. But have come with a very positive mind. Women are being allowed to work, politics is allowed… and I think the Taliban love cricket.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Prime Minister and former cricketer Imran Khan have also supported the Taliban on several occasions.
Imran had started lobbying him even before the Taliban rule came to Afghanistan. In July this year, Imran had said that the Taliban is not a terrorist organization but an ordinary citizen.
