Due to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, 15 people died after a compound wall collapsed in Nadur Kannappan’s layout of Mettupalayam this morning. The wall had completely weakened due to heavy rain. Police said that nine bodies have been recovered by the rescue personnel so far. The rescue operation is in progress. According to reports, four women are also among the dead.
