In Altroz, the engine produces a maximum power of 110 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. Tata Motors may readjust the engine for Punch. It was discovered that Punch injected diesel from the fuel pump. The diesel engine is expected to be borrowed from Altroz. The engine is a 1.5-liter engine that can produce a maximum power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. It is only used in conjunction with a 5-speed manual transmission.
