Tata Motors Ltd announced that its average passenger vehicle (PV) price rose 0.9% from January 19. Price increases will be implemented based on model and model. Meanwhile, the company has also responded to customer feedback by offering discounts of up to Rs 10,000 on select variants.
“While the company is absorbing most of the increased costs, the sharp rise in overall input costs has forced it to pass on a portion of this minimal price increase,” the company said in a statement. It also decided to pay for all the increased costs on Jan. 18. Price protection is offered to customers who book Tata Motors on or before today.
