Telangana government has increased the stipend of senior resident doctors to ₹ 80,500 per month

The Telangana government has increased the stipend of senior resident doctors from Rs 70,000 per month to Rs 80,500 per month from January 1, 2021.

In fact, the state government had issued a government order on Thursday, in which the stipend of senior residents working in government hospitals has been increased by 15 percent.

At the same time, the strike of the Junior Doctors Association in Telangana has also ended. Doctors say that keeping in mind the health of patients, a decision has been taken to withdraw the strike.

The junior and senior resident doctors of Telangana demonstrated against the non-fulfillment of promises made by the state government and boycotted non-emergency services.

While Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao requested all the doctors to withdraw the strike due to the Covid-19 situation.
