Because of strong research and training, Delhi’s education model has undergone revolutionary changes in the last seven years, according to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
Sisodia, who is also Delhi’s Education Minister, made the remarks during the State Council of Educational Research and Training’s (SCERT) 35th Foundation Day address.
“In the last seven years, Delhi’s educational model has undergone radical changes. We established new schools and implemented new curricula such as Happiness, Entrepreneurship Mindset, and Deshbhakti (patriotism). Teachers went abroad for training, our grades improved, and all of this was made possible by strong research and training, which SCERT Delhi aided on occasion “Sisodia explained.
The deputy CM stated that the SCERT, or Research and Training wing, plays a critical role in any country’s education department.
“It is dependent on this to improve educational quality. If Finland’s education system is at the top today, it is due to their outstanding educational research and training,” he added.
In his speech, Sisodia also stated that the SCERT’s efforts have been the “backbone” of the education model’s success.
