The actress is finally back in India, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas is unable to contain her enthusiasm. Tuesday morning in the small hours, Priyanka touched down in Mumbai. As she emerged from Mumbai’s Terminal 2, where photographers were waiting to get a peek of the world icon, the actress grinned like a million bucks.
With a broad smile on her face, Priyanka Chopra waved and greeted the photographers. Even as she was making her way to her car, the actress encountered a crowd. Priyanka was chic while wearing a cosy blue co-ord outfit. She kept her hair loose and added a handbag and a pair of super-chic white sneakers to finish off her ensemble.
Later, Priyanka posted a series of Instagram posts from her home in Mumbai in which she said that she had been binge-watching Koffee With Karan and eating a lot of Cheetos since she was “jet lagged.”
Nearly three years have passed since Priyanka last travelled to India. Her first journey to India since she and Nick Jonas welcomed their baby, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, makes this visit particularly meaningful for her Indian supporters.
After her wedding, Priyanka moved to Los Angeles, although she still made frequent trips to India. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and her hectic foreign travel plans, Priyanka was unable to fit a trip to India into her calendar. Prior to being stationed in the UK where she was filming for her films, Text For You and Citadel, in the past three years, Priyanka spent the majority of her time at her residence in Los Angeles.
On the professional front, Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix Resurrections was where Priyanka was last spotted. The projects Priyanka is working on right now are Text For You, Citadel, Jee Le Zaraa, It’s All Coming Back to Me, and Ending Things.
