A large number of migrant workers thronged the Anand Vihar bus terminal to return to their native places after the lockdown announced by the Delhi government. The Kejriwal government has appealed to the migrant workers not to leave the national capital.

As Delhi went into a six-day lockdown amid the deteriorating COVID-19 situation, hundreds of migrant workers have reached various bus terminals and railway stations to board the next available buses and trains for their native places.
