Two-kilometre long roadshow called Tiranga Yatra will cover Nikol and Bapunagar area. Aam Aadmi Party’s Gujarat unit general secretary Manoj Sorathiya said. The roadshow is expected to be attended by nearly 50,000 people.
They also visited museums and bowed down before the statue of Gandhiji at Hriday Kunj. The duo were presented with miniature charkha and books on Gandhi’s life.
The Aam Aadmi Party has announced it will contest all 182 seats in the state this year’s assembly elections. On Sunday, Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the local leadership in Gujarat.
Narendra Modi served as the chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 till 2014, when he became PM.
