The trailer for Middle Class Love, the newest production from Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media, has been made available. The movie is directed by his wife Ratnaa Sinha and stars newcomers Eisha Singh and Kavya Thapar in addition to Maska actor Prit Kamani. Manoj Pahwa plays a significant role in the movie as well.
Every successful man has a woman by his side, but every middle-class man has a son by his side who frequently receives advice on how to save money. This is how the trailer opens. We soon find ourselves in the living room of a typical middle-class family, where Manoj Pahwa plays the father reprimanding his son (Prit) for overspending while holding a slipper in his hands.
Soon, we learn that the son has his sights set on a wealthy girl whom he wants to date in order to escape the misery of middle class.
Anubhav said in a press release about the movie, “I take pride in the fact that I have been able to introduce such talented, sincere, and hardworking actors, who have no connections in the industry, and I have also given them a space where they will be presented in a manner that will justify their talent.”
Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, a 2017 movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda, marked Ratnaa’s debut as a director. “I am happy to introduce these talented actors with my film,” she continued, “because this story required new talent. Working with young talent presents challenges, but it is also incredibly rewarding because they gave it their all. It has been a wonderful journey, and you can literally hold their hands and make them walk.
Zee Studios and Sinha’s Benaras Media Works collaborated on Middle Class Love. On September 16, it will be released in theatres.
