Tripti Dimri, Babil Khan’s co-star in the movie Qala, said it’s unfair to compare him to Irrfan since “he will build his own fan following.”
Tripti Dimri, who stars alongside Babil Khan in the upcoming movie Qala, has spoken out in defense of her co-star, saying that it’s unfair to compare him to the late Irrfan Khan.
Dimri told Indian Express, “I think it is unfair to compare Babil to Irrfan sir. He is his own person and he will build his own fan following.”
She added, “Irrfan sir was a legendary actor and it is not easy to fill his shoes. I think Babil is doing a great job in the film and I am sure people will appreciate his work.”
Qala is set to release on February 26.

Kangana Ranaut was born in Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh and released her debut film, Gangster, in 2006. She is next seen in Emergency, as Indira Gandhi, alongside Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman and others.
