The All India Parliament (AIMIM), the party of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, on Wednesday released the third shortlist of candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh parliamentary elections.
The list has the names of seven candidates. AIMIM has so far announced 25 candidates and will be vying for around 80 seats.
AIMIM sent Vinod Jatav from Hastinapur, Imran Ansari from Meerut City, Shakir Ali from Barauli, Dilshad Ahmed from Sikandrabad, Vikas Shrivastava from Ramnagar, Rizwana from Nakur and Hafiz Waris from Kundarki.
From February 10, Uttar Pradesh will hold a parliamentary vote in seven phases, with vote counting to take place on March 10.
