The UP government presented a budget of ₹ 5,12,860.72 crore for the financial year 2020-21. It has a provision of ₹ 500 crores for the construction of the airport in Ayodhya, ₹ 2,000 crores for the Jewar (Gautam Budh Nagar) airport and ₹ 200 crores for the beautification of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. At the same time, ₹ 358 crores and ₹ 286 crores were given for Kanpur and Agra Metro Rail respectively.
