On the eve of parliamentary elections, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Bhagels said on Friday that the people of Uttar Pradesh need to get rid of inflation and unemployment, adding that only Congress can get rid of it.
“Ordinary people need to get rid of inflation and unemployment, and only Congress can get rid of it,” he told media sources.
Baghel, who went door-to-door on Friday to support congressional candidate Sikandar Valmiki from Agra Cantonment, also said he had been assured by people he met that they would vote for Congress.
In Uttar Pradesh, the first phase of voting will be held on February 10, the second phase on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, and the fifth phase on February 23. February 27th, the sixth phase on March 3rd, and the seventh phase on March 7th.
Counting will take place on March 10.
