The US-India Business Council, the top corporate body in the US, congratulated Tata Group on regaining management and control of Air India Airlines and praised the asset monetisation plan of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Tata Group regained control of Air India on Thursday, 69 years after the Mumbai-based conglomerate ceded its stake in the airline to the central government.

USIBC said it expects greater connectivity and opportunities in the US-India Economic Corridor.
