The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will start a door-to-door campaign in the polled states from Tuesday. The campaign will highlight the achievements of Yogi Adityanath’s ruling party government, which has been challenged on the electoral battlefield by the Samajwadi party and others.

“After informing every parliamentary constituency in the state of the government’s achievements through Jan Vishwas Yatras, the BJP will start its door-to-door campaign on Tuesday,” BJP UP department chief Swatantra Dev Singh said on Monday.

“During this campaign, party leaders and workers will engage with people in accordance with Covid protocols and inform people about what the central and state governments are doing for farmers, workers, women and youth,” he added.

To further boost its campaign, the BJP will launch ‘LED Raths’ with large screens to amplify its message after Makar Sankranti on January 14.
