Congress leader Rahul Gandhi performed “Ganga aarti” at the famous Har Ki Pauri Ghat during his visit to Uttarakhand on Saturday and said he prayed for a “bright future” for the state.
He tweeted three videos of himself participating in “Ganga aarti” when a large crowd there chanted “Har Har Gange”.
Gandhi tweeted a video of himself praying, saying in Hindi: “Hail to the Ganges! Pray for a bright future for Uttarakhand.”
Earlier in the day, at a farmers rally in the state, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of keeping protesting farmers on the road for a year amid the pandemic, claiming that India now has a king , he believes that people should keep quiet when making decisions.
