Vazirani Automotive launched the new super sports car Ekonk. Electric cars have caused some sensation in the automotive sector because it claims to be the fastest car made in India.

The company also claims that it is the lightest electric car in the world. The car weighs only 738 kg and has a total output of 712 horsepower. The car reached a top speed of 309 km/h in a test drive by Chunky Vazirani, founder and CEO of Vazirani Automotive. This rear-wheel drive car is made of carbon fiber, making it lighter than other competitors.

After the company launched its first supercar Shul in 2018, Ekonk became the focus of attention. Ekonk is an important test platform for the company’s newly developed battery technology DiCo. According to the company, the name of this new electric car comes from Indian scriptures, where “ekonk” symbolizes the beginning of creation.

Vazirani said: “For us, Ekonk marks our true beginning, where design and innovation are combined for the first time. This is our first living car.” The company said: “In Indian scriptures, Ekonk symbolizes the beginning of the sacred light. The Big Bang.” The official website also stated that the company’s “design team and engineering team worked together to create a low-drag concept car.” Various factors make Ekonk so lightweight. This car is single-seater. It has no roof and windshield.

This makes it an open cockpit vehicle. Most electric vehicles increase the weight of 600 to 700 kilograms through heavyweight battery cooling systems. But Ekonk uses DiCo technology, instead of using bulky pipe structure to cool the battery, instead it uses the air cooling principle. This greatly reduces the weight of the car.
