Vicky Kaushal’s wedding stylist, Amandeep Kaur, said the actor was “not one of those crazy grooms who are panic-stricken all the time.” During the wedding, Vicky’s wife, actress Katrina Kaif, asked Amandeep if he had “those moments,” according to an interview. Vicky was also described as the ‘chillest groom of all time,’ according to her.
On December 9, 2021, Vicky and Katrina married at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. Vicky wore a cream and gold sherwani with a matching turban and a green neckpiece to the wedding. Katrina looked stunning in a red and gold ensemble with traditional jewellery.
“I have to give him a lot of credit that he wasn’t one of those crazy grooms who is panic-struck all the time,” Amandeep said in an interview with Pinkvilla. ‘How was it styling Vicky?’ Katrina asked me even during the wedding. ‘Did he have those experiences?’ You know how the bride and groom want to know everything about each other? What was it like, were they nervous? ‘He was the chillest groom of all time,’ I said. “I want to party, I want to have a good time,” he said.
She also mentioned, “In life, I couldn’t have asked for a more positive, calmer groom to style. I recall being with Vicky on his wedding day; I was there, as were his brother, best friend, and safa (turban) tying people… I hope he continues to be as happy as he was. He was giddy with anticipation. I was simply taken aback by how gracefully he handled the entire situation.”
Katrina and Vicky are currently vacationing in New York, where they recently dined at actor Priyanka Chopra’s Sona restaurant. Katrina shared a photo from their visit to the restaurant on her Instagram Stories, in which she and Vicky smiled and posed with a restaurant employee.
She wrote in the caption, “@sonanewyork is my home away from home. I loved the vibe – as always, @priyankachopra, everything you do is incredible.” Priyanka reshared Katrina’s Instagram post in response, writing, “I adore you, honey! I’m glad you guys were able to attend. @sonanewyork always welcomes you..#homeawayfromhome”
Meanwhile, Vicky will star alongside Bhoomi Pedneker and Kiara Advani in Govinda Naam Mera. He’s also working on an untitled Laxman Utekar film with Sara Ali Khan and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur.
Katrina has two films in the works: Merry Christmas and Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. She also stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in the horror comedy PhoneBhoot. The actor will also be seen with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa.
