Recently, Vijay Sethupathi talked about his co-star in Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan. In a Cinema Vikatan interview, Vijay referred to Shah Rukh as “a great storyteller.” Prior to Jawan, Vijay debuted as an over-the-top actor in Hindi last year with Farzi on Prime Video.
“He has a very flexible mind.”
According to a report , Vijay said in Tamil, “I’m shocked to hear Mr. Shah Rukh Khan’s voice. He tells fantastic stories. He has an extremely flexible mentality. In an interview, I told him that he is more gorgeous in person than on screen.
“Shah Rukh Khan’s enthusiasm never wanes.”
In a recent interview , Vijay talked about the compliments that Shah Rukh Khan gave him. During Jawan’s filming, the actor also discussed his connection with Shah Rukh. Vijay went on to share what he had discovered from the actor.
“I learn something from everyone,” declared Vijay. Shah Rukh Khan never loses energy, that’s what I’ve learned about him. He was sick one day during the shoot, but you never know until he tells you. That’s a truly remarkable trait in him. He told me a lot of personal details about me, which made me delighted. I’m much happier by what Vijay and Rajinikanth have said about me. I was content that they noticed so many aspects about me and my performances.”
The antagonist in Jawan (2023), Vijay, had stated that he would prefer not to portray villains in films in the future. “I first stated that I don’t want to play villain roles and guest roles going forward during the Merry Christmas promotions,” he remarked. I’ve declined a lot of these kinds of roles lately. There are restrictions and parallels to your previous movies and performances when you play many roles in the same scene (antagonist).
The 50th and most recent film directed by Vijay Sethupathi, Maharaja, was released on June 14. Anurag Kashyap, an actor and filmmaker, also stars in the Nithilan Saminathan-directed picture. We are given a slow-burning thriller by Nithilan. Many characters appear in the early half, although they all seem unimportant but as you get to the intermission, you realise there are bigger things at play.
