Virat Kohli unleashed his anger at the stump microphone on Thursday, expressing his anger at the DRS decision on day 3 of the third and final Test in Cape Town Newlands . In the 21st inning of South Africa’s second inning, Dean Elgar was awarded LBW by the live referee, but the Proteas captain reviewed the decision. Replays showed the ball hit Elgar just below the knee, but Hawkeye showed it was going over the stump. The decision angered Indian players, especially captain Virat Kohli.

Captain India went to the stump microphone and let it rip. Other Indian players such as KL Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwin also expressed their dissatisfaction.

“Also keep an eye on your team when they serve the ball … not just the opponent, trying to catch people all the time.”
