Boney Kapoor is a well-known producer in the Indian film industry. He is the husband of the late Sridevi and the father of actresses Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Boney Kapoor opened up about his decision of not pursuing acting as a career. He said that the phrase “Anil ka khayaal mujhse pakka tha” (I was definite about Anil) is like a dagger in his heart.
Boney Kapoor was always interested in acting and had even started his own production company. However, he gave it all up when his wife Sridevi passed away. He said that he just couldn’t bring himself to face the camera after her death. Boney Kapoor is now focusing on his daughters and their careers. We hope to see him back on the big screen soon!
