Sushant Singh Rajput, who switched from television to film in 2013, has talked about his fallback plans if his debut fails to sign for a film. He said he would make “his own film” and to do that he would also run a canteen in Mumbai’s Film City, make a documentary and star in it.

Sushant passed away in June 2020 at the age of 34. He was found dead at his residence in Mumbai. Friday is his 36th birthday. The actor was last seen in the film Dil Bechara, which came out a few weeks after his death.

In a 2015 interview with Rediff.com, Sushant confessed to switching from TV to Bollywood, saying: “When I quit TV, people told me you were taking a course in filmmaking, but what if you didn’t make a film? I Say, ‘I’m going to make my own movie’. I’ve decided that if this happens, I’m going to open a cafeteria in Cinema City, and I’m going to buy a camera and make my own short film about the cafeteria and appear in it . I know I’m going to be as excited about it as I am now.”
