World Human Spirit Day

on

World Human Spirit Day was established in 2003 by Michael Levy to encourage the human spirit to live creative, peaceful and loving lives. The festival is based on the belief that the human spirit represents a place of peace and tranquility needed to escape our oppressed society. It is designed to encourage mindfulness through meditation, allowing us to develop the habit of constant reflection in order to feel fulfilled in our society.

Throughout modern times, philosophers have attempted to answer the question of what exactly the human mind is and how it can help us escape our sometimes unfavorable world. This holiday aims to acknowledge that our knowledge of the world is limited and superficial. On this day, everyone is encouraged to reflect on what they have accomplished in the world as human beings and to remain content by considering the infinite possibilities for greater achievement as a spirit.

This day is designed to help strengthen the connection with our spiritual selves in order to stay grounded under social pressures. World Human Spirit Day is a day when we seek inner satisfaction and accept the fact that we do not have all the answers. A day of gratitude for the higher powers we have and will have. It is often observed to promote the value of mental calm and contentment in our lives.
