The government on Thursday banned India’s 5th largest
private bank Yes Bank till 3 April under which the bank’s customers would not
be able to withdraw more than ₹ 50,000. At the same time, RBI has suspended the
board of Yes Bank for 30 days and appointed former SBI CFO Prashant Kumar as
its administrator.
