The Ministry of Earth Sciences told the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that the National Seismological Network (NSN) recorded 413 earthquakes in India between March 1 and September 8. According to the ministry, 135 out of 413 earthquakes were of magnitude 3.0 and below which are ‘not commonly felt’. According to the Ministry, only 11 earthquakes were of magnitude 5.0–5.7.
