The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved the creation of a new AIIMS in Darbhanga, Bihar. The government has said that this AIIMS, built at a cost of ₹ 1264 crore, will be ready in 4 years. The proposed AIIMS will have 100 seats of MBBS and 60 seats of BSC (Nursing) and a hospital of 750 beds.
