Once more, BTS is killing it on Netflix shows! BTS’s global hit song Dynamite is slated to light up the skies of the much awaited Bridgerton Part 3 after Emily in Paris. The third installment of the series, which is based on Julia Quinn’s 21st-century novel series, will have an orchestral music list that the streaming behemoth has revealed. This week marks the release of the season, which centres on the love tale between Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.

Bridgerton 3 will light up with BTS Dynamite.

The first four episodes of Bridgerton’s much awaited third season will premiere on May 16th. The event is reintroducing its trademark touch with a new set of symphonic pop versions, which will further heighten the anticipation. The Vitamin String Quartet, known for their captivating Ariana Grande & Madonna shows in recent years, will be performing reinvented songs by some of your favourite musicians. Get ready to be taken to a different part of the world.

And speaking of which, the Billboard-topping song that BTS, the K-pop group comprising of the septet Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, RM, Taehyung, Suga, and J-Hope, have recorded, will also be making its premiere in the series. This brings to recall the year 2022, when the Vitamin String Quartet requested ARMYs to recommend a song for a future Bridgerton series. It appears that the 2020 hit song Dynamite won the competition. Given the show’s subject, many contended that the group’s Black Swan would have been a better choice, but the summer hymn was chosen instead.

The streaming service posted “Orchestral Covers you’ll hear in Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1” on their official social media accounts. Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever, BTS’s Dynamite, and Sia’s Cheap Thrills were among the artists and their covers that were mentioned in the article for the Part 1 tracklist.

In the fourth episode, Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey’s “Snow On The Beach” is covered by Atwood Quartet, while Nick Jonas’s “Jealous” is covered by Los Angeles-based band Shimmer.

Episodes and release date for Bridgerton season three

The first installment of the third season of the programme, which is directed by Jess Brownell, will be available on May 16 and the last four on June 13. In a similar vein, the soundtracks will be made available in two sections. “I start to try to think of songs from the past that could maybe work for this and then also current hits that could possibly make sense,” the show’s music supervisor, Justin Kamps, previously said to Tudum.

“To be able to write a new theme for Colin (Luke Newton), a new theme for Penn, and a new theme for the two of them together was a lot of fun and definitely infused a new feeling into the sound and score for this season,” remarked Kris Bowers, a returning music supervisor, when discussing the process of creating music for the main characters this season.
