According to the data released by the Health Ministry on Saturday, the highest number of new cases of Covid-19 in the country in the last 24 hours was 69,878, taking the total to 29,75,701. Out of total cases, 22,22,577 people have been discharged while 6,97,330 cases are active. At the same time, 55,794 people have died due to infection in the country so far.
