One of Netflix’s lovechild series, “Heartstopper,” is getting back with a third season, and viewers have just been given to a sweet new teaser that lays the groundwork for more poignant moments between Charlie and Nick, the show’s main relationship.
Billie Eilish’s brand-new song, “Birds of a Feather,” from her upcoming album “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” heightens the teaser’s emotional impact.
The line, “I’ll love you till the day I die,” in the song expresses exactly what Charlie wants to say.
With her next album, Oscar and Grammy-winning musician Eilish is going against the norm by choosing to showcase the album as a whole on release day rather than releasing singles.
When is Heartstopper: Season 3 coming out?
Additionally, the massive streaming service has said that the next season will launch globally on October 3.
The teaser offers us a peek into Joe Locke’s character Charlie’s emotional journey as he practices the most important moment in each relationship: the confession of love.
Charlie is seen struggling with the vulnerability of telling his boyfriend Nick, who is portrayed by Kit Connor, that he loves him. The touching and realistic moment encapsulates the fear that many people have while expressing such deep emotions.
The arrival of Charlie’s sister Tori, portrayed by Jenny Walser, emphasises Charlie’s predicament even more.
She prods her brother towards transparency by saying, “I’m shocked you haven’t said it already.”
Charlie says, “I want him to feel free to say the awkward ‘I love you too,’ because he feels obligated to.”
Tori says, “You don’t think he feels the same?” to convey how he feels. She asks, telling him to inform Nick “today,” which leads to an awkward exchange.
Charlie is so nervous that he can’t even express his love when Nick finally enters their house at that time.
Netflix’s official synopsis promises an intense emotional ride: “Charlie wants to tell Nick that he loves him.” Nick wants to tell Charlie something very important as well. The buddies realise that the school year would bring both delights and problems as the summer vacation draws to a conclusion and the months fly by.
Everyone must learn to rely on the people they love when things in life don’t go as planned as they get to know one another and their relationships better, organise get-togethers and parties, and consider their options for colleges.
